Edinburgh City Council's newspaper, Edinburgh Outlook, has been in circulation for several years. The Council wanted to bring the publication into line with current practices in accessing information and this meant transferring the newspaper’s content to the internet. Connect Communications, who edit and publish the print version of the paper, recommended vox|ego for the task.
We provided them with a bespoke content management system that allows any non-technical person the ability to update the paper's content with both text and images. The database nature of the electronic version allows all the issues to be searched and accessed providing a valuable archive of material. The overall design of the electronic paper reflects the style of the printed version.
